Enemies (Lone Wolf Remix - 2010)
There were three different mixes of the original "Enemies" song with different beats. Then in 1997 it was remixed again. Thus I suppose the track became a U.N.I. standard. Mysterio went back to the lab and grabbed the original vocals from the "remix" and remixed the song yet again.
This time up he dug on some analog samples and gave a dark vision similar to the original version. Huge bass wraps around the head snapping beat with whistles and flutes coming in and out over a late sixties organ. Cuts and sound effects accentuate the three emcees rhymes as the song reaches its crescendo with the prerequisite Christopher Walken "True Romance" sample.

Jake's Jamboree Session #4
A fourteen part series from the session up in Connecticut at Lamada's Laboratory. Live drums, bass, keys, kalimba, turntables, etc. provide the tools for which these guys used to just have some fun making music.
Aint Goin Out Like A Sucka
Back in 1993 Melquan and Mysterio collabed on this track for his demo. Before he reached notorioty with the Constant Deviants, M.I., was known as Baby Boy and Melquan Armstrong. This joint showcases the foundation of what was to be and now is.

Jakes Jamboree Session #3
Number three of the fourteen part series from the session up in Connecticut at Lamada's Laboratory. Live drums, bass, keys, kalimba, turntables, etc. provide the tools for which these guys used to just havesome fun making music.
Notorious Henchman
A sample from the HBO animated series "Spawn" kicks off this classic cut. Mixed up with some ethereal sound bites over sharp drums Aya and Anoir drop some ferocious verses. Sound effects accentuate the rhymes as the two emcees glide swiftly over the lucid landscape.
NOTABLE QUOTES:
"I speak in these tones and crack bones of clones alone/ I seize a throne everytime on the microphone/ Rhyme cyclone/ So you should call on me like Tyrone/ Next time you need a rapper blown to the ozone" - Aya Da Storm
"Shooting mic chords like Spidey's web slingers/ So warn the dead ringers/ We are the harbringers/ Of doom - the odor lingers/ We consume rap singers/ Who think they came off cause they got sticky fingers" - Anoir Akbar
Big Up To Myself (8-Track Remastered)
Lighters. Smoke. Action! J.O.B. crafted this egotistic posse cut back in 1995 even though T-Booth says it is the "9-4, niggaz!". Echoing horns and uptempo drum track mixed with a deeply filtered bass allow the four emcees to showcase their rhyme skills. D-Train was on the original but for some reason his verse got lost in the hot sauce.
However, on this version T-Booth and J.O.B. recite his lyrics. Besides hearing the blowing of weed smoke into the microphone in between the off the wall verses you can hear a tri-corder. To round out the song we can hear all the emcees clowning on each other in a pure moment of them having fun making some good hip hop music.
NOTABLE QUOTES:
"It takes more to make my jaw hang/ Drop my drawers and bang - they bite but they don't stang" - Claw
"I have many rhymes and a versatile style/ But I bet you busta asses haven't heard me in a while" - T-Booth
"To make mad niggas catch mad red when I flow/ Your ears bleed from the souls of my vocals" - D-Train (as recited by T-Booth and J.O.B.)
"In your town - close your doors/ We coming for your momma's drawers!" - Moosie Moe

Bring It On Young Ones (Instrumental)
Rare Artist Series: Too Smooth
This is a new column to showcase some rare hip hop music from yesteryear. These groups or emcees are in no way affiliated with Universal Sounds.
First up is the emcee known as Too Smooth hailing from Maryland. Coming out in 1991 with this cassingle he dropped four different tracks but the one that sticks out the most to me is "I Wonder Who". Funny thing is I looked him up on the good old internet and the only thing I came up with was someone selling the 12" for $1,000.00 on ebay.
Anyhow - let the music speak for itself.

Reflections Instrumental
From the song "Reflections" by Analytical and Anoir.
In the vein of "12 Jewels" and "Sunshower" by RZA comes this song crafted by Anoir Akbar and Analytical over a Jake Lamada track. Mysterio comes in to add a little bit here and there just as well as sampling Lamada's live flute to compliment the track.
