The Pub Line Up

It twas 1995 at the Pub and DJ Cream was on the wheels of steel introducing the Universal Sounds crew:

The Line Up:

Spee*D - "And every time I grab the mic I rip it lovely"

MJB - "If you didn't know Matt's flow is slick like chicken fat"

T-Booth - "I don't bust caps but I bust rhymes that spread like butter"

Mayhem - "This mission is splitting competition like fission"

Moosie Moe - "Fools that pack get smoked like bowls"

J.O.B. - "Some call me Big Rob and others call me Bubba"

ENS - "I'm a man with a permanent tan"

Then Claw almost made it on before we experienced technical difficulties.

Enemies (Remix Part Deux) Live 1997 QJ

The classic "Enemies" track performed live in 1997. There were about three different versions of this staple song and I believe that this beat can only be found on this live version. DJ Cream and Aya Da Storm provide backing vocals for the three emcees.

ENEMIES

Mellow Interlude #1

Mellow

Rodeo Dance

Pure comedy led by MJB.

Rodeo Dance

Protect Yaself

One of the few times Moosie Moe got behind the boards for this jam about AIDS Awareness. A very simple drum beat, bass with sparse horns and chimes let the emcees drop some knowledge about protecting your Jimbrowski.

NOTABLE QUOTES:

"Cause soon you'll be shaking and baking and making without protection/ Uh-oh, I think you made the wrong connection" - DJ Cream

"Like wine you take a couple of sips/ Perception is flipped/ But then you trip and dip and slip" - Big Vic

"The epidemic at hand will blow you away like a fan/ To a grain of sand" - Ralphie

"I have fun when I use protection/ You say it don't feel the same/ I know it don't feel the same/ But I feel ashamed and in pain if I refrain" - Claw
