Rare Artist Series: Ghostface - Guerilla Hood
Classic track put on the Theodore Unit album but would of fit well on the "Pretty Tony" album. Love the track produced by Cilvaringz who hails from Morocco. Solid.

Rare Artist Series: Frank Sinatra & Antônio Carlos Jobim - Bonita
I never knew that old blue eyes could spit it with a spanish twist but he did so with solid production by Antonio Carlos Jobim. A solid selection from a super, solid album.

The first official collaboration between MJB, Mysterio and Moosie Moe. With J.O.B. and Mayhem providing back up support.

Assassins (Analog Remix)
Claw crafted this first person perspective way back in 1995. He takes the role of a soldier who was trained by the School Of Americas (known as School of Assassins and now known as The Westeren Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation). Mysterio went back to the boards and layed down some intense analog samples over drum programming of his own design. In between the verses he inserted clips from a speech by Father Roy regarding said school. It sad that this song still holds truth in it to this day but it remains as relevant as it did over sixteen years ago.

Rare Artist Series: Grand Daddy I.U. & 2Pac - Ghetto Blues
I am a huge advocate of the Smooth Assassin. Well, not huge but damn he is consistent in a way. At least whenever he drops something, which is rare, he comes off well over dope beats. This track here is right up my alley with the funky bass and him paired up with Pac is surprisingly soothing.

Rare Artist Series: Black Star - Respiration (Flying High Remix)
I loved the original mix off the album produced by Hi-Tek. However, Pete Rock stepped up and delivered the equivalent in terms of skill but gave the song a new breath of life. This one is more upbeat and allows Black Thought to step in and shine right next to the other two Black Stars.

Rare Artist Series: Dan Auerbach - When The Night Comes
Great solo work from the other half of the Black Key's. Very soulful stuff here running along the lines of a darker "Stand By Me". Or maybe I am just thinking of that because of the first line of the latter mentioned song...

Rare Artist Series: Brothaz Bent - Rock Vs. Water
Another crazy crew that slipped thru my radar back in 2007. Glad I finally caught up with their sounds as it delivers solid rhyming over solid production. I present Brothaz Bent...

Rare Artist Series: Aphrodite's Child - Aegian Sea
Flying Locust sampled this song by Aphrodite's Child. Man oh man, this is why I love music. Being able to discover new "old" music. I know I will never be able to listen to all the music ever created but I am glad to have stumbled upon this group. Incredible classic, psychedelic rock at its finest.
