Comptons Most Wanted - Music To Drive By
CMW minus the white boy who was on the first album (which is still dope) came with the third outing like an East Coast Gangstarr. Yeah Eiht is pretty much on par with Guru - not like they were incredibly complex word smiths but it was mostly the voice and the production. Primo even remixed a couple of tracks for Eiht. Anyhow - this album (minus one or two songs) is solid as a rock. I threw in Eiht's St. Ides Radio commercial for good measure. Enjoy responsibly!

Three Emcees (Part One) (2012 Analog Remix)
Mysterio decided to revamp the old standby classic featuring E.N.S., Anoir Akbar and Aya Da Storm. Analog samples were plugged in over a funky drum loop - served up fresh for 2012.

Rare Artist Series: Downtown Science
You know why you are here. Sam Sever and Bosco money delivered the goods with this solidly produced album from the early nineties. I have included some of the instrumentals and remixes off their 12 inch records too.
Enjoy!

Mayhem
Mayhem began back in 1995 and continued to infect the globe as it went through various changes. This is all the stages in a neatly compressed Zip Folder filled with MP3's.

Mysterio went back to the dusty 8-track tapes and touched up this gem by Claw.

Rare Artist Series: Group Home - The Realness
I was never a huge fan of either of their lyrical skills but Primo blessed them both with incredible tracks. Guru's production on the album is noticeably wack against DJ Premier's classic tracks and this be one of them.

Rare Artist Series: Statik Selektah - Sam Jack (feat. XV, Jon Connor & The Kid Daytona)
Great concept and ode to Samuel Jackson. The three emcees completely hit the mark on this one - laying it down over a tight track composed by Statik. Fucking awesome!

My Story Is Ruff
Melquan Armstrong came up with this jam back in the mid nineties. This was before he branched out with the Constant Deviants.

Rare Artist Series: Tom Caruna - Change The Beat
Mysterio remixed this three times and I definitely like his versions but this one here takes the cake and fits so well with Doom's rhymes. Lovely piano loop.

Rare Artist Series: Ice Cube - When Will They Shoot?
This was my joint back in 1992 and when I listen to it today it still gets me amped. Cube was a rap pioneer and definitely gave numerous songs that made my mix tapes on the regular. This is one of them.

Anoir and Kwote came up with this joint filled with gratitude with the help of Mysterio, on the boards, back in 2001.

Rare Artist Series: The Juggaknots - Loosifa
I remember getting this on vinyl - back when you just took a chance on records and I was extremely pleased with my purchase. When they remastered the album for a "proper" release I chipped in and wasn't disappointed. The follow up to that release really isn't that memorable to me but this song is...

Rare Artist Series: Fat Joe - The Shit is Real (DJ Premier Remix)
I never liked Fat Joe. I thought he sucked on the mic and when Big Pun came around he sucked even more. However, Primo laced Joe up with this dope track sampling Ahmad Jamal. Even Joe can't fuck up this track - really.

Rare Artist Series: Phantogram - As Far As I Can See
One of the few songs that I stumbled upon last year which I played and play over and over and over again. Phantogram brought a multi layered musical dimension to my ear drums and kept them ringing after the record stopped with this clever cut.

Rare Artist Series: MF Doom - Quite Buttery
I love this track by MF Doom which can be found on Count Bass D's best album. The cuts on the long player were short and to the point and this be one of them.

Rare Artist Series: Gravediggaz - 12 Jewelz
This song and the other song "Sunshower" are definitely my favorite RZA tracks. Forget all the Bobby Digital shite. He should of dropped that album "The Cure" but never did. So I will keep these two tracks at the top of his catalog. Pure Five Percent "Science".
