To start making space on the server we will be zipping up files and putting them on mediafire for download.  First batch starts from the beginning of the Universal Sounds blogs and includes all mp3's from the posts made in November & December 2009 and January 2010.

Torture (Bloody Stump Mix)

This mix strips out all the meat of the track leaving the bare bones.

Mysterio chopped up this beat and made it really intense to give an update to the classic song conceived by J.O.B., Claw and E.N.S..  The samples dug up from an obscure rock record still fit in just as well as weird sound effects lifted from Halloween records.  Strings and deep bass drops fill the landscape as the two emcees rip it up lovely.

Rare Artist Series: The Animals - Story of Bo Diddley

This is a cover of a Bo Diddley song about the story of Bo Diddley.  Bo was ripped off many many times over the years and people continue to pay "homage" yet not many people know who the hell he was.  This is one of my favorite versions of the tale - well done by the Animals.
