Rare Artist Series: Atmosphere - Crewed Up

Ant and Slug brought back the posse cut on their excellent "unreleased promo" album "Strictly Leakage".  Definitely a throwback which fit in with the other nostalgia induced tunes on the album.

Rare Artist Series: 7L & Esoteric - Stalker

This is such a creepy and funny ass track at the same time.  I think they sample "Kids in the Hall" on this one in regards to the chorus/breakdown.  The beat is funky and the lyrical story Esoteric put together proves how great of a story teller he can be.

Rare Artist Series: Big Noyd - Back Up In This Bitch

I slept on Noyd when he came out.  He had dope verses on Mobb Deep's second album but I guess he just slipped off my radar after that.  Anyhow - digging back in the crates I gave his record a spin and definitely he has been in my top rotation as of late.  Great mid 90's hip hop from Queensbridge, motherfucka!

Rare Artist Series: Def Squad - Check N Me Out

The Green Eyed Bandit sampled the group Space Machine for this favorite Def Squad cut of mine.  So funky and the three emcees voices and lyrics compliment it to the tee.  Solid.

Chaos and Mayhem (Live @ the PUB 1995)

The live version of the self titled song by Mayhem before he was known as Aya Da Storm.

Rare Artist Series: Vakill - The Creed

One of my favorite tracks by this Chi-Town native.  The beat is intense and his lyrics are complex yet completely understandable.  Play over and over and over.
