2 Live Crew beat BDP about five months to claim the title of having the first LIVE rap album but there is no comparison. This album by Boogie Down Productions still plays well and can give any "live" rap show a run for its money.
Where most rappers spend hours smoking blunts and trying to get in with the ladies KRS and his gang were throwing people off the stage and ripping up a live sound set. Twenty years later and this album still bumps!
